Becoming a Christian

In many parts of the world, religion, culture, politics and societal values are inseperable. In some countries you are 'born' into a particular religion. This makes it more difficult for some people to understand that becoming a Christian is a free and individual choice. Christianity is not inseperable from religion, culture, politics and societal values. The moral values of Western society are not closely allied to the Christian faith, as some believe. Quite the reverse! Those who are Christians do not endorse many of the values of modern western society, and look to the teachings of the Lord Jesus Christ for the truths and values that govern the way they live their lives.

The information in this section of our website seeks to set out some of the facts of what Christian is and what steps you should take if, after careful consideration, you decide that you want to become a Christian, a follower of Jesus Christ.
